The Curriculum at KD Grammar School for Boys aims to provide memorable experiences and rich opportunities for high-quality learning and wider personal development and well-being. It is broad and balanced, providing pupils with their full entitlement and is customised to meet the changing needs of individuals and groups. It provides firm foundations in English and Mathematics. Students have the opportunities to develop scientific inquiry and practical skills. Technological skills are developed through Computer Science and Business Studies. Creative skills are developed through Art and aesthetic skills are developed through Drama.
The school has a strength in languages and we are proud to offer French and Spanish European languages, as well as Arabic and Urdu. We have a range of PE and Sports activities, both within school time, and on an extra-curricular basis. The moral and spiritual foundations are developed through Islamic Studies and reinforced by the ethos of the school. British values of tolerance and mutual respect, democracy, rule of law and liberty, are actively promoted throughout curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
